Pets Tier List

Pets in No Limit Lifting Simulator 2 are one of the cleanest ways to stack the sequel’s permanent X15 Coins and X2 Muscle advantage over the classic game. This tier list ranks pets by how hard they accelerate your loop—Lift → Muscle → Sell → Weights/Genes → Body Altering → Reborn—not by how rare a thumbnail looks. Exact hatch odds and hidden multipliers change with updates, so we keep numbers conceptual and focus on decision order.

If you have not unlocked pets yet, read How to Get Pets first, then come back here to spend Coins wisely. Always redeem live rewards on Codes before you buy eggs; free pets from milestones can fill early inventory slots that would otherwise cost a full grind session.

Ranking criteria

  • S-tier: Near-zero opportunity cost or clear early-loop acceleration (especially code pets).
  • A-tier: Strong multiplier or utility pets worth targeting once your Weights/Genes baseline is stable.
  • B-tier: Solid fillers that help, but should not delay Body Altering or Reborn currency.
  • C-tier: Novelty, redundancy, or late vanity—equip if you like them, fund them last.

We do not invent fake percentage tables. When a pet’s tooltip is unclear, treat it as a multiplier shell or utility shell and compare it against your next Weight upgrade instead of chasing a rumor number.

S-tier — claim and equip first

Fox (codes / early booster)

Fox appears as an early reward path tied to promo and visit codes. Treat it as an S-tier starter pet because it costs almost nothing in Coins and immediately gives you a companion bonus while you learn Sell timing. On a fresh account, redeem codes before your first egg binge so Fox can ride along during the awkward first Weights purchases.

Ice Fox (codes / early booster)

Ice Fox fills the same early-booster role: a code-accessible pet that improves your first hours without competing against the Body Altering Coin sink. If both Fox and Ice Fox are available from active codes, equip both as soon as inventory rules allow. They are not “endgame gods”; they are free acceleration, which is the best ROI in any simulator.

A-tier — multiplier pets (conceptual)

Once Weights and Genes cover your basic lift power, shift Coins toward eggs and pets that the shop/UI frame as Coin, Muscle, or luck/hatch helpers. Call this group multiplier pets. You do not need a fabricated chart to use them correctly:

  1. Prefer pets that boost the currency you are bottlenecked on (Coins if Body Altering is expensive; Muscle if Sell cycles feel slow).
  2. Avoid buying a full egg set if you are within reach of a major Weight breakpoint or the 1 Sxtg Coins Reborn gate—see the Reborn Planner.
  3. After Reborn, re-evaluate pets because permanent Coin/Muscle multipliers make every pet percentage (whatever the live tooltip says) hit harder.

A-tier is where most dedicated hatch sessions belong. Pair hatching with the Progression Checklist so you still claim codes and push Body Altering the same day.

B-tier — useful fillers

B-tier pets are the ones you keep when inventory space allows, or when they complete a theme set, but they should not empty your Coin bank before the 30th Body Altering. Examples of B-tier thinking (roles, not fake names):

  • Duplicate early pets that stack weakly compared with a new Weight.
  • Pets that mainly change visuals or minor QoL without clear income text.
  • Mid-egg results that are fine to equip while you save for a better hatch window.

If a B-tier pet is already owned, equip it—owned value is free. Just stop spending for more of the same role until your next Reborn plan is funded.

C-tier — last priority

C-tier covers novelty drops, redundant copies, and pets you only want for collection. They are fine for leaderboard fashion or personal preference, but ranking them above Weights, Genes, or Reborn prep is how accounts stall. Sell or store per in-game rules if the title lets you reclaim value; otherwise ignore them until infinite-reborn style endgame play.

Session plan with pets

  1. Open Codes and redeem anything that grants Fox, Ice Fox, eggs, or Coins.
  2. Lift and Sell until you can afford the next justified Weight/Gene from the Weights & Genes Tier List.
  3. Spend leftover Coins on eggs only if you are not about to miss a Body Altering rank-up.
  4. Equip Fox/Ice Fox plus your best multiplier shells; drop pure vanity pets when slots are tight.
  5. Track Reborn readiness on How to Reborn and the planner tool.

Common mistakes

Hatching before codes. Free Fox/Ice Fox beats a paid dud egg. Always redeem first.

Ignoring the sequel multipliers. With X15 Coins permanently in play, a small pet bonus on a cleaned-up Weight loadout can outpace a messy account that over-invested in eggs.

Treating pets as a substitute for Body Altering. Pets amplify the loop; they do not replace the 30th alter gate. Keep How to Body Alter in your tab list.

Believing unverified stat spreadsheets. If a Discord screenshot claims “exactly 9999x,” verify in your own UI. This wiki ranks roles so you still progress when community sheets disagree.

How this list ties to other hubs

Pets are a power layer, not the whole game. Claim the Foxes, fund real multiplier shells when Coins allow, and never let egg fever delay Reborn. That is the S-tier mindset for No Limit Lifting Simulator 2.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Are Fox and Ice Fox still worth equipping late?

Yes if they still provide active bonuses and you have free slots. Their biggest value is early; later they become free fillers behind stronger multiplier pets.

Should I hatch eggs before buying Weights?

Usually no. Stabilize Weights/Genes and Body Altering progress first, then hatch with surplus Coins after codes are redeemed.

Why doesn’t this page list exact pet multipliers?

Multipliers can change and many community figures are unverified. We rank by role and opportunity cost instead of inventing stats.

Where do I redeem pet codes?

Use the in-game Codes button (see Controls) and follow the live list on the Codes page before each session.
